TYPES OF VHS TAPES

Standard VHS Tapes
A standard VHS (Video Home System) tape cassette has dimensions of approximately 7.4 inches (188 mm) in length, 4.2 inches (105 mm) in width, and 1.2 inches (30 mm) in height. The cassette is a rectangular plastic case with a hinged cover that protects the spools of magnetic tape inside.

VHS-C (VHS-Compact) Tapes
VHS-C, or VHS-Compact, tapes are a smaller format derived from the standard VHS format, primarily used for camcorders. VHS-C tapes typically measure 92mm (3.622 inches) in length, 60mm (2.362 inches) in width, and 12.2mm (0.48 inches) in thickness.
